Stoford has submitted plans for a second phase of development at Andover Business Park on behalf of international stairlift manufacturer and leading supplier of commercial lifts and lift services, Stannah.

The application proposes the development of a 136,100 sq ft warehouse/distribution unit on a c.10 acre plot to the north of the business park, completing the frontage along Pioneer Road.

The low energy consuming building will be built to BREEAM standards and will contain a range of sustainable features, including solar panelling, LED lighting and air source heat pumps, with cycle storage facilities and provision for future EV charging points. It will comprise three levels of office accommodation, as well as new access arrangements, landscaping, a service yard and parking facilities.

Stoford will develop the new unit adjacent to Stannah’s recently completed 90,000 sq ft factory and its contemporary design will create the appearance of a unified campus. The development is part of Stannah's long-term strategy for expansion, maintaining Andover as its primary UK manufacturing location where it has been based since 1974.
