Exeter Logistics Park is located off the M5 close to Exeter Airport. Phase 1 consists of a pre-let distribution unit for Amazon of 90,000 sq ft completed in 2019, plus 415 electric vehicle parking/charging spaces. Another two Reserved Matters Planning Applications have also been submitted and are awaiting approval. They include the proposed construction of a c. 55,000 sq ft parcel distribution centre with integral office space on behalf of an end user. The proposal includes 120 car parking spaces and 93 external van loading bays, including electric vehicle charging points, with the infrastructure in place to become fully electric in the future. A second, smaller unit, of c. 28,500 sq ft would be developed speculatively and is expected to operate as a conventionally designed facility, providing flexible warehouse space.
The overall site benefits from an outline planning consent for up to 1,184,030 sq ft of Use Class B8 development.
